The energy feels softer more gentle this week and there is a real theme around love and romance, not just because it's valentines day but due to the planet Venus and her placement in the cosmos. It's a shift for sure and feels like we move from hot n sweaty fuc#ing to sweet candlelight caressing.
That full moon last week did a good job of cracking our hearts open a little more and this week we get to love a little deeper and expand our creativity. Whether you are in a relationship or not use this week for romancing. Go on a date, get deep and personal, with another or with yourself. Get creative, get spiritual, and practice self-love. Self-love is actually our theme for this week.
There is that quote 'If you don't love yourself no one else will' it's not entirely true but what it is trying to say is, If you don’t love yourself, you’ll always be looking for someone else to fill the void inside you, but no one will ever be able to do it. So self-love really is an essential thing we must consciously work on.
This week I'd love you to think about how you practice or don't practice self-love. Self-love comprises four aspects: self-awareness, self-worth, self-esteem, and self-care. I invite you to look this week at what you can add to your daily practice that supports self-love. What tools do you have in your self-love box, what tools can you add? What acts of self-love can you engage in?
Ask yourself this question as often as you can: “What would someone who loves themselves do?"
