THE TRUTH BENEATH THE SURFACE
18 - 24 October, 2026

Hi beautiful souls,
This is a week of truth.
Not necessarily the loud, dramatic kind that arrives with a slammed door and a ten-page text message.
This truth may arrive as a feeling you can no longer dismiss. A realisation that keeps returning. A conversation that reveals more than the words being spoken. Or a quiet knowing that something is not working in the way you have been pretending it is.
Last week asked us to walk through the open door. This week asks us to become honest about what we are carrying through it.
We can change the job, the relationship, the home, the routine or the plan, but if we carry the same fears, patterns and unspoken needs with us, we simply recreate the old room on the other side of a new door.
This week’s cosmic weather brings relationships, trust, money, communication and self-worth to the surface. We are also heading towards a powerful Full Moon, so the emotional volume may gradually rise as the week goes on.
Something is building.
What has been sitting quietly beneath the surface may become much harder to ignore.
This is not a week to fear what rises.
It is a week to listen.
Something Has to Change
At the beginning of the week, reality begins meeting the intentions we set under last week’s New Moon.
We may know what we want to change, create or begin. Now life shows us what will actually be required.
This part is not always as exciting as setting the intention.
We love imagining the new life. We are often less enthusiastic when it requires an uncomfortable conversation, a different habit, greater discipline or the courage to disappoint somebody.
Something may feel slower or more difficult than expected. A plan may need adjusting, or we may realise that wanting something is not enough to carry it forward.
Do not immediately assume resistance means you are on the wrong path.
Sometimes resistance is simply the moment the dream becomes real enough to ask something from us.
A different relationship requires a different way of communicating.
A different career may require us to become visible before we feel ready.
A more peaceful life may require us to stop saying yes to everything that disturbs our peace.
The real question this week is not only, “What do I want?”
It is, “What am I willing to change in order to create it?”
When Everything Feels More Personal
Early in the week, feelings may become more intense.
Old insecurities could rise. We may become unusually focused on another person’s behaviour. Jealousy, comparison, fear of loss or the need for reassurance may become louder than usual.
We may find ourselves checking the phone, reading between every line or trying to work out what somebody really meant.
Before deciding that your intuition has uncovered an international conspiracy because somebody used a full stop instead of a heart emoji, pause.
There may be something important underneath the reaction, but the first story we create is not always the truth.
Beneath jealousy there may be a fear of not being chosen.
Beneath control there may be a fear that we are not safe.
Beneath anger there may be a need that has gone unspoken for far too long.
Thanks to Venus doing her backwards dance, the way we love, receive, spend, attach and measure our worth continues to be reviewed.
We may see where we give too much because we are frightened somebody will leave.
We may recognise where we withhold affection because we want another person to feel what we have felt.
We may discover that we have been accepting less than we need because asking for more carries the risk of rejection.
None of this makes us bad people. It makes us human.
But this week may make the pattern too obvious to keep pretending we cannot see it.
The Cost of Keeping the Peace
These themes are not limited to romantic relationships. They may appear in friendships, family, work or our relationship with money and success.
Something may reveal the price we have been paying to keep everything looking peaceful.
We may have stayed silent to avoid conflict while resentment quietly grew inside us.
We may have overgiven because being needed made us feel secure.
We may have worked so hard to prove our value that we no longer have time to enjoy the life we are creating.
There are many ways we abandon ourselves that look perfectly responsible from the outside.
This week helps us see them.
Not so we can judge ourselves, but so we can finally choose differently.
Peace built on silence is not peace.
Harmony that requires one person to continually abandon themselves is not harmony.
Sometimes we give our power away and then become angry that somebody else is holding it.
Taking our power back does not always look dramatic. It may be a boundary. A decision. A conversation. Or the moment we stop negotiating with what we already know.
The Truth You Already Know
As the week progresses, the energy becomes deeper and more reflective.
Surface conversations may no longer feel satisfying. We want honesty. Intimacy. Meaning. We want to understand what is really happening underneath the behaviour, the words and the carefully managed version of the story.
You may feel more emotional, private or intuitive. You may need more space from noise, shallow conversations or people who expect access to you without offering any real depth in return.
Something hidden may become clearer.
It may not be a secret somebody else has been keeping. It may be a truth you have been keeping from yourself.
Perhaps you do not want what you thought you wanted.
Perhaps you are more ready for change than you realised.
Perhaps the anger is actually grief.
Perhaps the independence is protecting a fear of needing somebody.
Perhaps what you have been calling confusion is the difficulty of accepting an answer you already know.
Towards the weekend, we may receive an important moment of clarity about love, relationships, money or what truly matters to us now.
We may suddenly understand why the same pattern keeps repeating.
We may see what is worth repairing and what we have been trying to save simply because we are afraid to let it go.
We may realise that love is still present, but the way a relationship operates has to change.
Or we may recognise that what we have been calling love is actually attachment, familiarity, potential or the fear of beginning again.
This is not about making a dramatic decision in one emotional moment.
It is about receiving information from the heart.
What feels true when the fear becomes quiet?
Let the answer land before deciding what to do with it.
Slow the Conversation Down
Just as something begins to make sense, Mercury begins walking backwards on Saturday evening.
Of course he does.
Unfinished conversations may return. Plans could change. Messages may be misunderstood. People or memories from the past may suddenly reappear.
We may think we are arguing about something that happened yesterday when we are actually reacting to something that happened ten years ago.
Slow everything down.
Read the message again before responding. Check the booking, date and details. Back up anything important. Leave room for plans to change.
More importantly, listen beneath the words.
Repeated conversations often return because something underneath them has never truly been resolved.
This is not the week to force an answer or make a permanent decision simply because the emotional pressure feels uncomfortable.
You may have found an important piece of the truth, but there could still be more information to come.

Something Is Building Towards the Full Moon
As the week closes, we begin feeling Monday afternoon’s Full Moon building.
Full Moons illuminate what has been hidden and bring something to a peak. Emotions may feel louder, situations may become clearer and something we have been tolerating may reach the point where it needs to be acknowledged.
This does not automatically mean an ending.
It may bring a realisation, a result, a release or the moment we finally understand what needs to change.
Our bodies may feel this energy before our minds understand it. We may crave comfort, security, quiet, nature and something solid beneath our feet.
Pay attention to what your body is telling you.
If you feel overstimulated, reduce the noise. If you feel emotionally flooded, do not force the conversation at midnight.
Eat something nourishing. Go outside. Put your feet on the ground. Sleep before deciding that your entire life is falling apart.
This Full Moon brings us back to what is truly valuable and what genuinely helps us feel safe. Not the temporary safety of controlling everything. The deeper safety of knowing we can trust ourselves.
It may reveal where we have stayed because something is familiar, even though it is no longer nourishing.
And this becomes the central question of the week: Do I stay with what is familiar because it feels safe, or do I trust myself enough to choose what is true?
You do not have to manufacture a dramatic release.
Let the Full Moon show you what has naturally reached completion and what your body is no longer willing to carry.
How to Work With This Week
Notice what triggers you without treating your first interpretation as fact. Pause long enough to feel what is underneath the reaction. Be honest about where love, money, approval or control have become entangled. Allow clarity to arrive without demanding an immediate decision. Slow down communication towards the weekend. Check the details and leave space for missing information.
Listen to your body as the Full Moon builds. It may recognise the truth before your mind is ready to accept it. And remember that truth is not here to destroy what is real. Truth reveals what is real. The Lessons and BlessingsThis week reminds us that:
✨ Affirmation of the Week ✨"I am willing to see what is true without abandoning myself or rushing to react. I release the need to control what belongs to others. I trust the wisdom of my heart, the messages of my body and the clarity that comes when I become quiet enough to listen." |
Beautiful soul, this week may show you something you can no longer unsee. Do not be frightened by that. There is freedom in finally naming what you have felt for a long time. You do not have to solve everything this week. You do not have to force the answer, win the conversation or know exactly what happens next. Your work is simply to become honest enough to hear the truth beneath the noise. Let what is hidden come into the light. Let what is outdated be reviewed. Let what is real become stronger. And as the Full Moon builds, let your body show you what your mind has been trying to negotiate with. The truth is not the ending. It is the place from which something real can finally begin. |
Love you, Sarah ✨ |
