THIS IS WHERE THE NEW LIFE BEGINS

6 - 12 September, 2026

Hi beautiful souls,

This week does not arrive with the emotional drama of an eclipse. It arrives more quietly, through the small decisions, the conversation we have been avoiding, the boundary we finally honour, the appointment we make and the moment we realise that waiting to feel completely ready has become another way of staying exactly where we are.

The eclipses revealed what could no longer continue. Last week asked us to strengthen the foundations. Now life begins handing us the bricks.

This Friday 11th September, we welcome a New Moon in Virgo. This is the first New Moon since the eclipse corridor and it feels like the first genuinely clean page following everything that August opened, exposed and cleared.

But Virgo does not ask us to announce a dramatic new life. Virgo asks us to live it.

This is the week the spiritual revelation must become a practical choice.

The First Clean Page

New Moons bring new beginnings, but this one feels particularly important.

We have just moved through two eclipses that may have disrupted our plans, emotions, relationships or sense of direction. We may now understand what is over without being completely sure what comes next.

This New Moon begins answering that question, not by revealing the entire plan but by showing us the next step.

Virgo understands that transformation is rarely created through one enormous moment. It is created through what we repeatedly choose when nobody is watching. The food we eat. The thoughts we entertain. The people we give access to. The promises we keep to ourselves. The way we speak to our bodies and the way we use our time.

It is also created by whether we maintain our boundaries once the emotion that created them has passed. We often believe we need more motivation, more certainty or another sign before we begin. But sometimes the life we want is waiting on the other side of one very ordinary decision.

The future is not built by the intentions we set once. It is built by the choices we are willing to repeat.

Virgo energy can be deeply healing, discerning and practical, but its shadow can make us believe we need to fix everything before we are allowed to begin.

We may become overly focused on what is wrong. We may analyse every possible outcome, compare ourselves to others or delay taking action because the plan is not yet perfect.

“I will begin when I feel more confident.”

“I will share it when it is perfect.”

“I will rest when everything is finished.”

“I need to understand the whole journey before I take the first step.”

That voice may sound sensible, but it is often fear wearing a very organised outfit.

Virgo is not here to punish us with another impossible standard. It is here to help us remove what is unnecessary so that our energy can return to what genuinely matters.

This is not the week to become a better machine. It is the week to become a more conscious human. Read that again please!

Your Body Is Speaking

The Virgo New Moon places a powerful focus on health, healing, work, routines and the relationship we have with our physical bodies.

After the emotional intensity of eclipse season, many nervous systems may still be catching up. We may feel tired, wired, sensitive, restless or unusually aware of what the body will and will not tolerate.

Please listen.

The body is not an inconvenience standing between you and your plans. It is the home in which every one of those plans must live.

This New Moon may reveal where our routines are supporting us and where they have become another form of punishment, control or avoidance. Health is not only about what we eat or how often we exercise. It is also about the relationships our nervous systems are repeatedly asked to survive. It is the responsibilities we accept through guilt, the emotions we suppress to keep the peace, the pressure we place upon ourselves and the rest we refuse because we still believe our value must be earned.

Ask your body what it needs now… Not what social media says it should need. Not what worked five years ago. Not what someone else’s body can sustain.

If your body is giving you some feedback, please know it is not betraying you. It may be refusing to participate in a life that no longer fits.

The Awakening Moves Inwards

At the same time as this New Moon, Uranus turns retrograde.

Uranus is the planet of awakening, freedom, disruption and sudden change. When it changes direction, its energy can feel intensified. We may experience unexpected news, changes involving communication or technology, disrupted plans, nervous energy or the feeling that something is shifting faster than we can mentally process.

But as Uranus begins its retrograde journey, much of the revolution moves inwards.

We may suddenly question beliefs, decisions or identities we have taken for granted. A life that looks successful may no longer feel alive. A role we once fought to achieve may now feel restrictive. An old idea of freedom may no longer feel free.

The awakening may not be visible to anyone else yet. It may simply begin as a quiet thought:

“I don’t think I want this anymore.”

“I cannot keep living this way.”

“I want something different.”

“Perhaps I am allowed to change.”

Do not dismiss these thoughts simply because they are inconvenient. They may be the first tremors of a much deeper liberation. You do not have to overturn your entire life this week, but you do need to stop pretending you have not heard yourself or that your thoughts are wrong.

Make the Move

This New Moon forms a supportive connection with Mars, giving us the courage and energy to act upon what we know.

This matters because Virgo can sometimes remain trapped in preparation. We can create the list, research the options, reorganise the desk, buy a beautiful new notebook and still avoid doing the thing.

Mars says: enough preparation. Send the application. Begin the project. Book the appointment. Change the routine. Speak the truth. Take the first imperfect step.

There is a difference between divine timing and hiding behind timing. There is a difference between surrender and avoidance. There is a difference between waiting for clarity and refusing to act upon the clarity we already have.

The action does not need to be enormous. It needs to be one honest step.

Communication and Relationships

This week there may be a change in the way we think and communicate thanks to some Mercury movement.

The mind moves from analysis towards relationships. We become more aware of how our words affect others and may feel called to negotiate, restore balance or find a more peaceful way of expressing something difficult. This can support important conversations, agreements and reconciliation, but Libra can also tempt us to soften the truth so much that it disappears.

Peace created through self-abandonment is not peace.

Harmony created by one person remaining silent is not harmony.

Compromise is only healthy when both people are making it.

Towards the end of the week be careful not to blur the line between your intuition and your projections.

We may hear what we want to hear. We may assume we understand someone’s intentions without asking. We may respond to an old wound rather than what is actually happening in front of us.

Before reacting, ask yourself: Do I have the whole story? Have I communicated clearly? Am I responding to what is happening now or to something that happened before?

Not every thought is a message. Not every fear is intuition. Not every silence is rejection.

Let the truth be clear enough to survive a question.

Love relationships want to go deeper now. Surface-level connection may no longer satisfy us. We may crave greater closeness, stronger chemistry and the feeling of being genuinely known.

Hidden emotions can rise. Attraction may intensify. Questions around trust, loyalty, control, jealousy, money or vulnerability may become more visible.

We are moving towards deep desires. We do not want the polished version of love. That’s old. We want what is real underneath it.

This can deepen relationships that are ready for honesty, but it can also expose connections being held together by avoidance, fantasy or fear.

We may recognise where we have been performing closeness rather than experiencing it. Where we have been testing someone instead of stating what we need. Where we have confused emotional intensity with genuine intimacy. Or where we have remained guarded while asking another person to open.

From Confusion to Transfiguration

The movement through the Gene Keys reflects this week beautifully.

We begin under Gene Key 64:

Confusion → Imagination → Illumination

Confusion is often what we experience when the old understanding has collapsed but the new pattern is not yet visible. The mind wants an immediate answer, while the soul is still arranging the pieces.

Do not force meaning too quickly.

Allow imagination to show you options you have not yet considered.

As the week continues, we move into Gene Key 47:

Oppression → Transmutation → Transfiguration

Gene Key 47 holds the possibility of transforming the weight of our past into wisdom.

We stop asking, “Why did this happen to me?” and begin asking, “What can this become through me?”

The past cannot be changed, but our relationship with it can.

A memory can become wisdom. An ending can become direction. A failure can become discernment. A wound can become the place through which we understand another human being.

What once felt like the weight holding you down may become the wisdom upon which your new life stands.

How to Move Through This Week

Around Friday’s New Moon, create a quiet moment for yourself.

Do not write a list of twenty things you believe you should improve. Choose one area, one habit, one boundary or one honest commitment.

Ask yourself:

  • What does my body need from me now?

  • What repeatedly drains my energy?

  • Where am I using perfectionism to avoid beginning?

  • What truth needs to become a conversation?

  • What small choice would make my life feel more aligned?

Choose something realistic enough to continue after the New Moon energy has passed.

Drink the water. Go to bed earlier. Make the call. Clear the drawer. Cancel the obligation. Take the walk. Tell the truth. Begin.

The Lessons and Blessings

This week reminds us that healing must eventually enter our daily lives. The body is a messenger, not an obstacle. Peace without truth is only avoidance, and intimacy requires both vulnerability and discernment.

Confusion can be part of illumination. The past becomes lighter when it is transformed into wisdom, and freedom often begins internally before anyone else can see it.

Most importantly, one honest action holds more power than a hundred beautiful intentions.

✨ Affirmation of the Week ✨

"I honour the wisdom of my body. I release the need to be perfect and begin creating change through the small, honest choices I make each day."

Beautiful soul,

You do not need to fix every flaw, heal every wound or understand every part of the journey today.

You only need to become more available to the life that is already trying to reach you.

The eclipses cleared the space. This New Moon places the first seed into the ground.

Your job is not to dig it up every morning to see whether it is growing. Your job is to tend to it. Protect it. Nourish it. Keep choosing it when the energy is no longer new and nobody is applauding.

The greatest changes in our lives do not always begin with a loud declaration.

Sometimes they begin when we finally go to bed on time. When we stop answering the message that disturbs our peace. When we make the appointment. When we say no without writing a paragraph to justify it. When we tell someone what we actually need.

When we choose ourselves in one small moment and then choose ourselves again tomorrow.

This is not simply another opportunity to imagine a different future.

This is where you begin living it.

Love you,

Sarah
