DO NOT LET THE TRIGGER WRITE THE STORY

27 September - 3 October, 2026

Hi beautiful souls,

This week begins in the emotional aftermath of the Aries Full Moon.

Something may have come to the surface around your needs, your relationships or the places where you have been keeping the peace at your own expense. You may have recognised where you have been giving too much or too little, swallowing your anger or waiting for somebody else to choose you. The truth may now be visible, but that does not mean everything needs to be confronted, decided or resolved immediately.

We begin this week feeling more exposed than usual and we need to sit in this for a moment without fixing, distracting or numbing ourselves. There is much to be learned in this space.

Emotions may still be raw. Our patience could be shorter than others might appreciate. Something happening in the present may touch an old wound, making our response feel far bigger than the moment itself. Be super aware that’s where we are at this week, please, before reacting, take a moment and ask yourself: Am I responding to what is happening now, or to everything this reminds me of?

A trigger contains information. It may show us where we still feel rejected, unheard, unsafe, controlled, abandoned or unimportant, but a trigger is not always the whole truth and it should not automatically be given full control of the conversation.

Ask yourself - Am I just running an old programme and is this just an old story? Both have the potential with your awareness to be changed now.

The Full Moon Has Shown Us Something

Full Moons illuminate what has been building beneath the surface.

This one may have revealed anger we have been trying to spiritually breathe our way out of. It may have shown us where a relationship has become unbalanced, where our needs have been ignored or where we have slowly disappeared from our own lives. But anger is not always the final message. Sometimes anger is protecting grief. Sometimes it is protecting fear. Sometimes it is protecting the part of us that has been saying, “This isn’t right,” while another part has continued trying to make it work.

Before you act on the emotion, become curious about what it is protecting.

What are you truly upset about?

What did you need that you did not receive?

What are you afraid this situation means?

What has this moment reminded you of?

The aim is not to suppress your feelings.

It is to understand them deeply enough that they do not have to run your life. Feel the emotion, but do not let it make every decision.

A New Possibility Appears

Thankfully, the beginning of the week also brings fresh energy and the possibility of a breakthrough. Something unexpected may help us see a situation differently.

A conversation, changed plan, new opportunity or sudden realisation could show us that we have more choices than we thought. An answer may arrive from somewhere we were not looking. Be open to receive please. Something does not necessarily need to end, but the way we have been approaching it may need to change.

This energy encourages us to loosen our grip on how life was supposed to unfold. Don't become so focused on particular outcomes as this can close you off to other possibilities trying to find you that may be way better than your plan.

Thanks to Uranus, the great awakener, there is freedom in the air, freedom does not always arrive as the thing we asked for though. It may arrive as a disruption or a changed decision. A door closing. Somebody showing us who they really are. Or the sudden recognition that we no longer want what we once worked so hard to receive. Do not assume every change of direction means you have lost your way. Sometimes the path changes because you have changed my friend.

We Are Going Beneath the Surface

As the week progresses, the energy becomes deeper. We may lose patience with shallow conversations, half-truths and polite answers that avoid the real issue. Thanks to Mercury, the detective of the cosmos, we may notice what has been left unsaid. We could become more aware of someone’s tone, body language or the difference between their words and their actions. This is beautiful energy for therapy, intuitive work, honest conversations and understanding the deeper patterns behind our choices. Might be time to book in and see me :)

We may finally recognise why something affects us so strongly. We may understand the wound beneath a behaviour or see the truth we previously were not ready to accept. We need to be aware there is a shadow to this energy. We can become suspicious. We may obsess over a conversation, analyse every word or search for evidence to confirm what we already fear. Please be careful not to create an entire story from one look, one text message or one change in somebody’s energy. Your intuition may be speaking but so may your fear.

Note - Intuition is usually quiet and clear. Fear arrives with urgency and an entire investigation folder.

If you feel yourself spiraling, come back to what you actually know.

What are the facts?

What are you assuming?

What are you afraid of?

What question could you ask instead of trying to read somebody’s mind?

Words Carry More Power

Towards the end of the week, words carry more heat than usual. A small disagreement could uncover something much deeper that has been building for a long time. People may become defensive. Pride may be easily wounded. We may feel determined to prove our point, expose the truth or regain control of a situation. Master Mars turns up the temperature and gives us the courage to say what we mean but courage without awareness can quickly become aggression. There may be a truth that needs to be spoken, may be a boundary that needs to be named. There could be something you can no longer pretend is acceptable. How you deliver the truth matters.

Ask yourself:

Am I speaking to create clarity or am I speaking to regain control?

Are you trying to be understood, or are you trying to win?

Are you sharing how you feel, or are you telling another person what they feel?

Are you setting a boundary, or are you using silence, withdrawal or anger to punish them?

Truth does not need to be cruel to be powerful.

You can be direct without becoming destructive.

You can say no without delivering a closing argument.

You can honour your needs without making another person wrong for having theirs.

The Battle for Control

The intensity builds as we move towards the weekend. We may become aware of power struggles in our relationships, families or workplaces. Someone may push against a boundary. We may feel challenged, dismissed or controlled. We might become fiercely determined to make something happen or equally determined to prevent somebody else from getting their way. This is powerful energy. Used consciously, it can help us break a destructive pattern, confront something we have avoided and reclaim the power we have handed to another person. Used unconsciously, it can become manipulation, intimidation, obsession or emotional warfare. Watch for the belief that there must be a winner and a loser. Real power does not require us to overpower another person. Real power is being able to remain connected to ourselves when somebody disagrees with us, holding a boundary without needing to scream it. It is recognising when we cannot control the outcome but we can control how we participate in it.

Move the Energy

There is a great deal of fire and emotional intensity moving through us this week.

It needs somewhere healthy to go. Move your body. Walk. Dance. Run. Breathe. Clean the house. Write the unsent letter. Cry in the shower. Shake the energy out of your arms and legs. Put music on and let your body express what your mind cannot yet explain. Do not store everything until it erupts through the nearest available person. Do not make a permanent decision at the peak of a temporary emotional wave. Regulation is not avoidance. It allows us to speak from the present rather than handing the microphone to every wound we have ever carried.

The Release

As the week closes, it is a time of release, reflection and integration. We do not need to carry every feeling forward. We do not need to continue every argument simply because it has begun. We do not need to force clarity before it is ready. Something may need to be forgiven, accepted or grieved. Something may simply need to be put down.

How to Work With This Week

At the beginning of the week, give yourself time to process what the Full Moon has revealed.

Remain open to an unexpected answer or a new way forward. As conversations deepen, stay curious. Ask questions rather than assuming you already know what somebody else is thinking. When the energy becomes heated, pause before speaking. Move the emotion through your body. Do not send the message simply because you have written it. Tell the truth, but do not weaponise it. Set boundaries, but do not use them as punishment. Notice where you are trying to control another person’s response. Let people reveal who they are without trying to manage the evidence. Towards the weekend, become practical. Decide what needs to change and identify the first grounded action that will support that change.

The Lessons and Blessings

This week reminds us that:

  • a trigger contains information, but it is not always the whole truth

  • anger may be protecting grief, fear or an unmet need

  • an unexpected change can create freedom

  • intuition does not need panic to make itself heard

  • honesty and cruelty are not the same thing

  • real power does not require us to overpower another person

  • regulating ourselves is not the same as avoiding the issue

  • boundaries must be supported by consistent action

  • we cannot control another person’s response to our truth

  • emotional maturity means choosing what happens after the trigger

✨ Affirmation of the Week ✨

"I honour what my emotions are showing me without allowing them to control my choices. I speak my truth with courage, use my power with integrity and choose my response from the person I am becoming, not the wounds I have carried."

Beautiful soul, this week may show you a part of yourself that still becomes frightened, defensive or desperate to regain control. Do not shame that part. Listen to it. Love it. Understand what it is trying to protect. Please do not allow it to make every decision. You are no longer trapped inside the moment that created the wound. You have choices now. You can pause, ask a question, leave the room. You can move the emotion. You can tell the truth differently. You can choose a response that does not repeat the past.

A trigger may reveal the wound but it does not have to write the next chapter.

Love you,

Sarah ✨
