The Old Healing Chapter Is Ending

Hi beautiful souls,
Have you ever spent so long working on yourself that you almost forgot you were allowed to live?
I think many of us have become incredibly good at recognising our patterns. We know our attachment styles, our childhood wounds, our triggers and the beliefs we created to survive. We have journalled, reflected, released, forgiven and tried to understand why we are the way we are.
This work has been important. It has helped us become more conscious, compassionate and honest. But there comes a point when healing can quietly become another place we hide.
Another reason we are not ready.
Another belief that there is still something wrong with us.
Another project to complete before we allow ourselves to be visible, joyful, loved or fully alive.
Perhaps we were never meant to heal every part of ourselves before beginning the next chapter. Perhaps the healing was preparing us to live it.
Last week, we explored how the future needs a different you. This week, the question becomes: what are you going to do with the person you have become?
The energy is moving from awakening into integration. From understanding our lives to participating in them. From constantly asking, “What do I still need to heal?” to asking, “What am I now ready to bring?”
This does not mean our healing is finished or that old wounds will never appear again. It means they no longer need to be the centre of our identity.
You are more than everything that happened to you.
You are also everything that grew from it.
This Week’s Astrology
The astrology this week carries us across a powerful threshold.
Saturn begins its retrograde journey in Aries as the week opens, asking us to pause and look honestly at the foundations we have been building.
Does the life you are creating still reflect who you are becoming?
Are your responsibilities aligned with your values, or are you continuing to carry roles, expectations and commitments that belong to an older version of you?
Saturn retrograde is not here to stop our progress. It asks us to make sure we are building something strong enough to hold our future.
There is a difference between being committed and being trapped by a decision you made when you were a different person. There is also a difference between following through and continuing to force something simply because you are afraid to change your mind.
This is a time of refinement.
We do not need to abandon everything we have created. We may simply need to adjust the foundations so that our outer life begins to feel more like our inner truth.
Early in the week, the Sun sits opposite Pluto while also connecting beautifully with Uranus. This can bring truth, intensity and unexpected clarity.
Something may be revealed that we can no longer ignore. We may recognise where we have been giving our power away, holding too tightly or trying to control an outcome because uncertainty feels unsafe.
But Uranus opens another door.
It brings the breakthrough, the unexpected idea and the perspective we could not see before. Something that has felt tangled may suddenly become simple.
You may find yourself thinking, “Why have I been making this so hard?”
Sometimes the answer is that we have been trying to force an old solution onto a life that has already changed.
The Aquarius Full Moon
The heart of this week is the Aquarius Full Moon, which peaks just after midnight on Thursday in Brisbane.
This Full Moon illuminates belonging, friendship, community, freedom and the future.
It may make us more aware of the places where we feel deeply connected and the places where we feel alone, even when we are surrounded by people.
Have you ever noticed that loneliness is not always the absence of others?
Sometimes loneliness is the absence of yourself.
It is what we feel when we are present physically but hiding emotionally. When people know our role but not our heart. When we are included but do not feel seen. When we have learnt how to fit in, but forgotten how to belong.
Aquarius reminds us that we were never meant to fit everywhere.
We were not meant to be understood by everyone, approved of by everyone or invited into every room.
True belonging does not ask us to become less of ourselves. It gives us space to become more.
This Full Moon may reveal where you are still performing for acceptance. Where you change your energy depending on who is around you. Where you silence your truth, hide your gifts or make yourself smaller so that someone else can remain comfortable.
It may also bring clarity around certain friendships, groups or communities. Some connections may be deepening while others begin to feel more distant.
This does not mean anyone has done something wrong. Sometimes people grow together.
Sometimes they grow in different directions.
We can love someone and still recognise that we no longer meet in the same place.
We can honour what a relationship has meant without forcing it to remain what it once was.
My friends, this is not a Full Moon for dramatically cutting everyone out of our lives. It is a moment of honest recognition.
Where can I be fully myself?
Where do I feel that I am constantly proving my worth?
Who sees the person I am now rather than holding me inside the person I used to be?
From Personal Healing to Collective Contribution
There is a much bigger shift happening alongside this Full Moon.
For the past chapter, so much of our growth has centred around healing, releasing, understanding and becoming more discerning about what belongs in our lives.
Now the energy begins turning outward. Not away from ourselves, but through ourselves.
The question is no longer only, “How do I heal?”
It becomes, “How does what I have learnt now move through me?”
What are you here to do? What are you here to bring?
Contribution can be beautifully quiet. It can be the way you parent your children differently. The way you make another person feel safe. The truth you are finally willing to speak. The pattern you decide will end with you. The love, creativity, wisdom or courage you bring into the spaces around you.
You do not need to become important to make an impact. You need to become honest.
Aquarius asks us to contribute our uniqueness to the whole. Leo asks us to have the courage to let that uniqueness be seen. One without the other does not work.
If we only focus on the collective, we can lose ourselves inside the group. If we only focus on being seen, our self-expression can become a performance. The invitation is to bring our individual light into something larger than ourselves.
Not: “How can I get everyone to notice me?”
But: “What is mine to share?”
How This Week May Feel
This week may feel emotional in ways that are difficult to explain.
You may become more sensitive to being ignored, misunderstood or left out. You may suddenly notice how lonely it feels to be around people who do not really see you.
You may want deeper conversations and have less patience for anything that feels superficial, performative or disconnected.
You may want to pull away and spend more time alone. Or you may feel a strong desire to find your people and be part of something meaningful.
Both responses are understandable.
Sometimes we need solitude to hear ourselves again before we can recognise where we genuinely belong.
The energy may also move through the nervous system as restlessness, tiredness, disrupted sleep or feeling wired and overwhelmed by noise, people and information.
The pace of our evolution is accelerating, but our bodies still need time to process the changes our minds can understand in an instant.
If you feel excited one moment and uncertain the next, you are not doing anything wrong.
Part of you can sense what is opening. Another part is still grieving what is closing.
Let both be true.
There may also be moments of unexpected clarity. A new idea, connection or possibility may arrive. Something you had dismissed could suddenly feel worthy of exploration.
You may realise that you are not lost. You are simply no longer willing to keep walking in a direction that does not feel true.
The Blessing of the Week
There is a beautiful light surrounding this Full Moon as the Sun and Jupiter come together in Leo.
This brings hope, confidence, creativity and expansion. It reminds us that the future is not only something to prepare ourselves for. It is something we are allowed to feel excited about.
After so much reflection, releasing and healing, the energy begins asking what brings us alive.
What makes you laugh?
What do you want to create?
Where do you feel inspired?
What have you been waiting to do until you felt more confident, ready or healed?
Leo reminds us that joy is not a reward we receive after completing all our inner work.
Joy is part of the healing.
There may be a temptation to make ourselves larger this week, to seek recognition, prove our worth or demand to be seen. But true confidence does not need to convince the room. It simply stops abandoning itself.
This is the blessing available now: the courage to take up space in your own life without needing everyone else to approve.
How to Work With the Energy
This week, resist the urge to make immediate decisions simply because something feels uncomfortable.
Allow the Full Moon to illuminate before you act.
Notice where your body softens and where it contracts. Notice who makes you feel more like yourself and where you instinctively become smaller.
If you feel disconnected, ask whether you need more connection or whether you need to reconnect with yourself first.
Step away from excessive noise and other people’s opinions. Give your nervous system room to breathe. Walk outside. Put your feet on the earth. Swim. Dance. Write. Create. Spend time with people who leave you feeling nourished rather than depleted.
Let yourself enjoy something without turning it into a lesson, goal or healing practice.
And ask yourself:
Where am I still trying to earn belonging?
Who am I when I am not seeking approval?
What am I tired of continually trying to fix?
What has my healing prepared me to bring into the world?
What would I begin if I trusted that I was ready enough now?
You do not need to know your entire purpose this week. Choose one thing that feels true and allow yourself to live it.
Share the idea. Have the conversation. Create the thing. Join the community. Take the step. Show life that you are ready to participate in what comes next.
✨ Affirmation of the Week ✨"I release the belief that I must become more healed, perfect or acceptable before I begin. I trust who I have become, honour what I am here to bring and allow myself to belong without abandoning who I am." |
Before You Go…I want to leave you with something that feels important this week. You are not behind because you are still healing, but you are also not required to remain inside your healing forever. There will always be another layer to understand, another pattern to explore and another reason you could give yourself for not being ready. At some point, we have to let life meet us as we are. Not as the perfectly healed version. Not as the person who has finally worked everything out. As this person. The one who still gets triggered sometimes. The one who is still learning. The one who does not know exactly where the path is leading but knows she cannot keep living the old way. Perhaps belonging was never about finding a room where everybody was the same as you. Perhaps it is finding the courage to walk into the room as yourself. You do not need to fit everywhere. You only need to stop abandoning yourself wherever you go. Healing helped us understand who we are. Now let’s start truly living too. |
Love you, Sarah ✨ |
